Family Feud involved in Rail Issue
One Cousin, Rep. Baxter Troutman, has abstained.
The Other Cousin, Sen. J.D. Alexander (a Big Proponent of the High Speed Rail), is weighing his options and has asked a lawyer for “advice”. Here is some advice for Free: CONFLICT OF INTEREST, SENATOR!! (h/t “The Buzz“)
I say Senator Alexander should follow his cousin and abstain. When personal fortunes stand to be made on your personal political decisions..It is time to step away from the issue.
As a Republican, I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in our Republican led legislature letting this Special Session take place. It’s activity like this to lead others to say there isn’t a dimes worth of difference between the two parties.
I’m researching, working, typing and emailing my arse off to show people that there IS a difference. Republicans in the Florida House and Senate: Prove to me I’m not working in vain. Put a stop to this charade and blind orgy of worthless spending.
End this Session now with a no vote for this Boondoggle and go home for the Holidays.
You can thank me later….
